About Us

Entrusted Pet’s original Founders are two Funeral Directors that dedicated part of their career to helping pet families in need, while also working alongside Messinger Mortuary serving their community. They saw not only a calling to help guide human families through a difficult time of loss, but also discovered pet families needing the same level of care and compassion following the loss of a furry companion.

This is how Entrusted Pets was born.

Later, the Messinger family incorporated Entrusted Pets into in 2015 when Entrusted Pet’s founders retired to assure that their legacy of caring for pet families continued. Messinger Mortuary has served the community in their time of loss for over half a century. Paul Messinger the founder of Messinger Mortuary opened their first mortuary in 1959 in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale on what use to be their family’s dairy farm. Today there are four generations within the business to carry on the strong work ethic and values deeply woven into the business; assuring that every family is treated with care and respect while providing the highest level of service at an affordable level.
